June wrap-up

We weren't very good at updating our blog site in June so this will combine the events of the month.

In preparation for the Stake Girl's Camp in July, Sue took some of the girl's camping. It was interesting to see the difference between the ways boys camp and girls.

Father's Day brought clothes and a new Ham radio. It was a nice day. It's been great having Nathan's family here for the summer. It's going to be hard to see them leave in August.

Jarrod got his hair cut!! It's different than he has had in the past, but it will feel better over the hot summer months - especially backpacking at Mammoth in July.

The haircut proved to be beneficial on the Stake Pioneer Trek. It was a record breaking hot day. We will post a separate posting on the Trek - later.

Jarrod started his Eagle Project in June. He is building 8 bookshelves for a local elementary school.

Jarrod went to the beach recently. He "supposedly" applied sunscreen. Lesson's learned: reapply regularly and use a higher SPF.
