Alyssa had a vacation this week so she spent it with us. Unfortunately, it is at the same time that Ben starts a new semester. Hopefully they will survive being away from each other for over a week.

Jarrod Graduation
Jarrod graduated from 8th grade. The medallion around his neck was recognition for English last year.
We have dinner at Macaroni Grill after the ceremony.

Michael & Alissa married
Michael and Alissa are Josh's age and went to Villa Park HS with him. They were married in San Diego on Friday. The looked very happy. The ice sculpture was awesome.

Jarrod Academic Awards
Jarrod has been doing well in Junior High School. He received the Presidential award, high GPA and high marks on state testing.
He later in the week he received an academic award for having a 4.0 GPA for 4 semesters. He received an 89.5 in English in a semester last year or he would have had a 4.0 GPA for 5 semesters.
