Father's & Sons Campout

The annual Father's & Son's Campout was at Firestone again this year. Jay opened the campfire.
Rick & Peter did a great job with the entertainment. Solos and sing-a-longs.

Of course, there was plenty of junk and sugar just before bed. Dozen's of donuts, 3 dutchoven cobblers, with milk (chocolate optional).
We had several visitors to camp. Much too tame.

The breakfast in the morning was fantastic. Rick (Iceman) has started his oven kitchen. Traditionally, it was pancakes. This year it was French Toast, pancakes, hash browns, and eggs (made to order). He can't be out done.

After breakfast, we had games. Tug of war and egg toss.
Jarrod was in charge of organizing the games. Did great!Even though the line of boys facing the line of dads, the kids throwing to their dads wasn't always accurate. (See the dad's running all over)

Jarrod brought his balloon launcher. The balloons were cool but we had some rejected eggs (they had visible cracks that couldn't be used for egg toss). The eggs went far (if they didn't break leaving the sling. The shot below caught the egg just as it hit the backstop (see insert).

Well it looks like you guys had fun. I can't believe that raccoon got so close and didn't even look frightened at all!
