Sharing old photos

Rick recently discovered gmail allows photo sharing. He has been entering old family photographs he has scanned. It even has a face recognition feature. This feature finds the faces on the page. The user tags the face to identify it. It's not sophisticated enough to remember and identify, it requires the user to tag each face, but it's great.

This is a directory of photo of my grandfather.

Winter Formal

Kristy asked Jarrod to her high school (Foothill) winter formal dance. They exchanged flowers are Kristy's house.

They then went to a friend's for photos. There were 5 couples. One of the young men had a school function and wasn't able to be present for the photos.

After the photos, they met at Kristy's and left in a limo to dinner. From dinner, to the dance.

Dinner at Steve's

On Sunday, we had dinner at Steve's (Rick's brother). Stan was not able to be here this year. He took his boys to Park City for the week to ski. Nikki was home.

Kate to Disneyland

We took Katelynn to Disneyland on Saturday morning. The park is different with a 2 year old.

This is a photo taken earlier at a park. It didn't fit in the previous posts so I put it here. It's just too cute not to include.
The first ride we went on was Dumbo. Kate enjoyed moving it up and down.
Then we rode the carousel.

After the Carousel, we rode It's a Small World. It was decorated with Christmas decor. We used to be sick of this ride - listening to THAT song over, and over and over again. But with a 2 year old, it's different. We can go on it multiple times, just watching her take it in.

On the other hand, we went on the Alice in Wonderland ride. Kate was nervous on this one.

After eating her sucker, corn dog on a stick with chips and drink, we bought her cotton candy. As grandparents, we can do that.

Cousins.

The family room remodel is now complete with new couches. We found them at Costco for a great price. There are 4 recliners. Jarrod was against leather at first (too cold). But he's "warming up" to them now.

Christmas Festivities

Christmas Eve was spent with at the annual family party at the Master's home. Nate and Josh's families spent their evenings with their spouses families.

Christmas morning we were blessed to have everyone here (except to Josh and Hayley who were in Utah with her family). This is the traditional "family on the stairs" photo. If the family continues to grow at this rate, we are going to need to move to a house with a bigger staircase or enlarge this one.

The hat was alittle too small! They had fun opening the gifts. Grandma loves Christmas and went crazy with the grandchildren.

Bella enjoyed Christmas is seems.
Such a beautiful grandma.
Four lovely ladies.
The family. We've grown in the last 12 months. (click here to see last year)

It was a great holiday as a family!
