It has been a wonderful year. One of the blessings this year is having the children and grandchildren living close. Josh, Hayley and Channing moved to Temecula (~1 hour southwest) They still visit regularly. We have an open Sunday policy for Family Dinner. Many Sundays, most of them visit.

Jarrod graduated from Villa Park High School. He attended 2 Winter Formals and 3 Proms. Yes, 3 different high schools. Needless to say, he is a popular guy.

Our church has a 4 year goal setting/development program called Duty to God. Jarrod completed all 4 years.

For his senior project, Jarrod decided to restore this tea cart. This cart belonged to my grandmother. This was always in her dinner room near the window with live plants and flowers on it. Time wasn't good to it. Jarrod changed that.

As one of the few Eagle scouts in his class, he conducted the flag ceremony at his HS Baccalaureate

Sue is the leader of the Young Women's program for the Stake (several congregations). She took a handful of girls on a 3 day backpacking trip to the highest peak in Southern California above Palm Springs.

She was also in charge of a Girl's camp for the Stake. This is a 5 day event in the local mountains.

Having the family for photos is always a treat. We have a new camera this year. These are only a few of the thousands of photos taken

Josh graduated with an MBA from California State University at Fullerton and Nathan received his certificate as a Certified Public Accountant this year.

On November 23rd, Nathan and Jennifer added another addition to the clan. Grandma loves holding Graham.

2010 Blog wrap-up

This blog is a summary of our year. All of our children and grandchildren live within 3.5 miles. Having them at the house regularly is a frequent blessing. It's like having Thanksgiving several times a month. It's a rare day we don't see at least some of them. As the kids lives are still in transition, we are not sure how long this will last. We will just continue to enjoy it while it does.

Ben is finishing his nursing pre-requisites and Alyssa is a nanny of 2 young girls.
